PAST SCHOOL CLOSURE ASSIGNMENTS These assignments were not mandatory and were meant for enrichment and review purposes only.
Message from Mrs. Gee 3/31: Hello 7th graders! It is hard to believe how much time has passed since I've seen you last - almost 3 weeks! I miss all of you very much, and I am sure you miss school too. Maybe not the tests or notes, but I'm sure you miss your teachers and friends. This is a challenging time for us all. We have had many meetings about what to do with online learning while school is closed and we have run into many challenges, mainly the lack of internet for many students. For the time being, teachers will be updating their websites with daily review assignments from material we have already learned in class. These assignments are NOT MANDATORY and will NOT BE GRADED. However, I encourage you to do them. We know how much an education is important for a country's development - it affects healthcare, maternal mortality rate, infant mortality rate, and so much more! Use this opportunity to better yourself and make the most of your education. Remember, many kids around the world do not have this same opportunity. I am open to suggestions - if you find anything cool like a video or review game, send it my way and I'll post it! I hope all of you are doing well and staying safe. Remember to stay home and do your part to flatten the curve and slow the spread of this virus. Keep me updated with your life and positive things happening - email me at [email protected] if you need anything and I'll be sure to respond! I hope to see you soon and I hope you are all healthy and happy.
