Assignments and Announcements - C.P. World History
9th Grade World History - 2 Week COVID-19 Closure Instructions:
1. While you are out of school, look over your notes on religion in the Middle Ages. Be able to explain how the clergy became corrupt and how the Crusades influenced Europe. Look over architecture (Romanesque vs. Gothic) and be able to explain how this architecture shows the church's corruption. When we return from this break, we will be looking at urban/education/trade revival at the end of the Middle Ages and the Crises of the 14th Century in Europe, which included the 100 Years' War, the Black Plague, and the climate change of the 14th Century.
2. Take this time to edit your papers on wealth inequality for the 30% boost. If you have questions, email Mrs. Gee at [email protected].
3. If possible, do not leave your house unless necessary. The risk of spreading this virus increases with each person you come into contact with. While students and some teachers are not at a high risk of getting seriously ill, some teachers with pre-existing health conditions, your grandparents, and other vulnerable members of the community are at a greater risk. While you might not get sick, you could pass it to someone who could get very sick. Do your part to help slow the spread of this virus.
***Grades from BEFORE the school closure are being updated. If you notice an issue with your grades from BEFORE the school closure, please email Mrs. Gee.***
